This simple but powerful USB is known as the Leonardo BADUSB. It has an ATMEGA32U4 microcontroller, it is read by the PC as an “HID device” which is a Human Interface Device like a keyboard or a mouse. It can be programmed with the Arduino IDE therefore allowing us to write keystroke that will be injected in the PC as soon as the USB gets connected. Similar to batch files, it can be used to automate repetitive tasks. It is also used in the famous “BADUSB” attacks. It can replace the famous Rubber Ducky and instead of writing a Ducky Script, you use a C++ script written in the Arduino IDE.
